I often check out the reviews at Tom's Hardware Guide and/or Sharky Extreme before buying Express Microsolutions (the local site I use to guage computer component prices) PC Waterloo (a local place near UW to get parts) Neutron Computers (local place that does systems and has cheap network cable) TBE Computers (no idea about their systems, but these guys fixed my monitor fairly cheaply...) PC Used (a place in Toronto that sells parts and refurbished systems) NCIX.com and Insight Canada (a friend recommended both of these sites for putting together good systems)
